Immunotherapy for environmental allergies is a treatment available for allergic rhinitis and/or asthma. It is not a treatment for eczema. It is available as a daily sublingual (under the tongue) medication or a monthly subcutaneous (under the skin) injection given by your GP. The treatment takes 3-5 years. Dr Nickolls will undertake a full allergy assessment and discuss the process, costs and side effects with you to determine if this is the right treatment for your child.
